• Our Class 1 E-bikes are suitable for riding either on the Rockefeller carriage roads, the Park Loop Road, or just around town!

• We have been in the bike business in Bar Harbor for over 30 years, and have been renting e-bikes for many years. Our experience can give you confidence.

• All our high-end e-bikes use Shimano or Bosch mid-drive motors to give you the best possible experience on an e-bike. E-bikes with mid-drive motors typically offer improved handling and balance because the motor's weight is centralized, resulting in a more natural weight distribution.

• Picking up your bikes from our downtown shop gives you flexibility, a longer rental period, and a far wider choice of rental times to fit your vacation schedule.

• We offer the longest rental times around. If you enjoy sleeping in while on vacation, we’ll hold your e-bikes for you until you arrive at our shop, no matter when that is.

• Should you encounter an issue while riding, we have a full-service “rescue”staff ready to assist you.

• Our customer service representatives can spend as much instructional time with you as needed. We want our riders to feel safe and confident, whether you are an experienced rider or your first foray into e-biking.

• It’s just over a mile from our shop to the nearest entrance to the carriage roads. If you’re coming in on a cruise ship, we’re the shop for you! We’re just three blocks from the tender pier, so you don’t have to worry about getting a ride to the Visitor Center to pick up your E-bike!
